Makhaula: We need to pick ourselves up quickly

AmaZulu captain Makhehlene Makhaula admits morale in the camp is low ahead of the inaugural Carling Black Label Cup after the MTN8 final defeat to Orlando Pirates.Usuthu came out on the wrong side of the result in the MTN8 final with Pirates' Monnapule Saleng scoring the only goal of the game.The KZN outfit now turn their attention to the first Carling Black Label Cup, who held a press conference on Monday where Makhaula gave his assessment of the mood in the dressing-room."Yes, it could be a chance for us to bounce back but the coach can do everything he can and prepare us very well but it may also happen that some of us are still left behind in the loss in the MTN8," said the Usuthu skipper."We are really going to try to bounce back because we are football players and we need to but what happened to us at the weekend was really sad and maybe you are able to pick it up yourself from my body language but we're gonna be Okay."Personally, I'm a fighter and that's the kind of mentality I'm looking to pass onto my teammates. We are also very fortunate to have a coach that is able to speak to us very well so we're going to look forward and focus on the Carling Black Label Cup."
