Physio seemed mildly horrified that I’d been out for an hour and a half earlier! I should build up sensibly - from five minutes to 10, to 15 and rest the ankle in between, still using ice and elevation to reduce the swelling. Apparently the break takes six weeks to mend but another six to be fully restored. So I’ve had to lower expectations.
