Khris Middleton struggled a lot with his shot during the game against the Grizzlies. The 31-year-old small forward made 1 of 12 field shots (1/8 three-pointers) as the Bucks were heavily beaten (142-101).

It was just his seventh game of the season. Middleton was out since April due to a sprained MCL in his left knee. Although he is back on the court, he is yet to get into his best shape.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is not worried about his teammate’s poor shooting night and is confident that once Middleton gets into the rhythm, he will be a major problem for the opposing teams.

Via Jim Owczarski of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

“Khris is gonna be Khris, he’s going to find his rhythm,” Antetokounmpo said. “He’s a great player. He’s going to get easy looks and once he gets his rhythm he’s going to be a bad man. But obviously he hasn’t even played 10 games into the season. He’s going to find his rhythm. He’s going to be fine. He’s going to be great for us.”

This season Middleton is averaging 12.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 24.7 minutes per game.
