On November 5, the Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee announced to the public that eSports was officially listed as a competition item in the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, which will produce competition medals and announced eight eSports competition subheads. This marks that eSports is really incorporated into the competition system by international competitions and becomes a widely recognized competitive sport.
