The PADI AWARE Fish Identification Course: Who should take this course?

During this Fish Identification course you will actually get to know your fish. No more questions such as: What was that blue stripy fish? The course will teach you how to recognize the different fish families. Each with their own characteristics, habitat and behavior. The AWARE PADI Fish Identification Specialty course: What you will learn?

During two scuba dives, you’ll learn how to:

• Spot and recognize different fish families.
• Learn different survey techniques and strategies.
• Learn more about the Project Aware Activities that help to protect the marine life.

An additional fun dive in the afternoon is included to practice your fish identification skills even more.

A TYPICAL SCHEDULE:

Palawan Divers usually plans 3 dives per day. We meet at 8:00am and are back at around 3:30pm. The quality, safety and comfort of your course are very important to us, so you can expect the focused, undivided attention of our staff. We limit the number of divers to 10 per boat, with a maximum of 2 students per instructor.

In the diving center:

When back in the diving center the instructor will debrief you about the day. You will go through the fish identification books to have a better understanding of all the marine life you encountered that day.

The PADI AWARE Fish Identification Specialty Course Package.

You can pay by cash, by Paypal or credit card (3.5% bank charge).

Our PADI Fish Identification Specialty Course package includes: full diving gear, online PADI certification card, instructor’s fee, boat travel, warm lunch made from fresh local ingredients, fruits, hot and cold drinks.
Our package does not include the Eco Tourism Development fee and has to be paid in cash. This ticket costs Php200 and is valid for 10 days.
